These photos were brought to you by almost entirely by Instagram; making pictures artsier since December 2011, when emily got an iphone and realized her actual camera only works about 60% of the time.
wow, birds DO exist in Denmark!
pastreeeeee!
My breakfast every morning.. oatmeal and granola!
I think my b-town fam (shoutout!) would be proud of how healthily I'm eating over here. aside from the whole 'pastry a day' thing, of course. but don't worry, mi familia- apparently you can burn calories just by being cold! Which is basically a constant for me at this point.

(i wonder if this article is actually legit... let's just pretend it is)
my favorite part of the commute. I may have explained this earlier, but I live in a suburb (Fløng) of a suburb (Hedehusene) of a suburb (Roskilde) of Copenhagen.
Even with the occasionally exasperating commute, I'm super glad I made the decision to live with a host family.
I get to watch the sunrise on the way to classes (did you know the sun doesn't peak over the horizon until 8:15? and then it sets at 3:45 pm).
I, unlike my city-dwelling friends, understand that there is more to Denmark than just Copenhagen.
I get to listen to authentic Danish music like...
We have Denmark to thank.
vi ses senere!
